If you’d like to make your process heat generation more affordable and sustainable, we’ve got a hot tip. Bring the waste heat that would otherwise be pumped out with the waste gas unused back into your system – and reduce your energy costs and CO2 emissions as a result. We’ve got solutions for all kinds of applications:
Improve your energy efficiency dramatically: with waste heat from dryers, biomass burners and systems for thermal aftertreatment, for instance. With its cylindrical design and coil-shaped heat exchanger, our energy recovery system WE is ideal for waste gas temperatures from 500 to 1,000 °C and volume flows from 1,000 to 16,000 Nm3/h. This technology makes it possible to obtain heat energy from particularly hot and high-volume waste gas flows without putting your thermal oil at risk of cracking and requiring regular replacement. An internal displacer ensures optimum waste gas distribution. We produce every pressure vessel with shell-and-tube heat exchanger on the basis of DIN 4754 and the pressure equipment directive (AD-2000 standard) as standard. However, we are also happy to take additional construction and acceptance standards into consideration. As we make our components ourselves, we can implement almost any preference quickly and easily – such as horizontal or vertical designs and complete packages with full safety equipment, complete with fittings, pumps and control units.

Energy recovery systems in the ER range use residual heat from flue gases and other hot air gas mixtures to heat liquids such as hot water, industrial hot water and thermal oil, dramatically improving their system's energy efficiency. The heat exchanger is used at waste gas temperatures between 150 and 500 °C and waste gas volume flows up to 60,000 Nm³/h, supplies heat output of 30 to 6,000 kW and has a waste gas bypass with a bypass capability of up to 100 %. The systems’ modular design allows us to cover a wide range of products with standard sizes and offer solutions for producing hot water up to 110 °C, industrial hot water up to 160 °C and thermal oil up to 400 °C. We use materials ranging from simple carbon steel to high-alloy CrNi steel. We are also happy to supply fittings, control units, pumps and safety equipment.

Do you have an older system used for drying, biomass burning or thermal aftertreatment that's still pumping its waste heat unused into the environment? Then it's a great time to retrofit your system. One particularly easy way to help you reuse this energy in your processes is with our ER-BOX, which is installed parallel to the waste gas duct. It uses its ventilator to extract the hot waste gas from the main waste gas duct and draws it through the heat exchanger to feed the cooled gas back into the main duct. This means the waste gas duct does not require an additional valve. You can use the ER-BOX to heat hot water up to 110 °C, industrial hot water up to 250 °C and thermal oil up to 400 °C. The system’s modular architecture offers performance to suit your requirements and a waste gas bypass with a bypass capability of up to 100%. Request a retrofit quote today! We can supply all additional requirements such as fittings, control units, pumps and safety equipment on request.

Heat exchangers from the WT range also recover residual heat from flue gases and other hot air gas mixtures to heat liquids such as hot water, industrial hot water and thermal oil. The robust energy recovery systems process waste gas temperatures ranging from 150 to 1,000 °C and waste gas volume flows up to 60,000 Nm³/h – enabling heat output of 30 to 6,000 kW. WT heat exchanger elements are used in a wide range of process engineering applications in smooth and finned tube forms. Depending on requirements, they can be fitted with a top plate for installation in an existing housing or a flange frame running around both sides. With its modular architecture and our own in-house design software, the WT series is easy to adapt to your specific tasks. We use materials ranging from simple carbon steel to high-alloy CrNi steel which we process in our automated production processes to the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

What your production’s environmental footprint? And how can we work together to make your systems more sustainable?
A lot of people do quality. We do the feelgood factor. After all, we know supplying top-tier technology won’t cut it alone: a complete package you can count on takes honest, reliable and respectful collaboration, tailored advice, fair maintenance contracts and swift service. That’s what you get with us. And you won’t want it any other way. Because you know that everything’s running smoothly – no ifs, no buts. You can focus on what counts instead: your business.
