The gas or oil-fired heater in our WTÖ is the warm heart of a classic process heating system. It heats by burning thermal oil inside the boiler. The heat then reaches all other parts of the system. Our WTÖ systems are available as a 1, 2 or 3 pass heater in a vertical or horizontal design and enable temperatures of up to +430 °C with an output ranging from 80 to 30,000 kW. Its impressive efficiency enables high heating output with low energy requirements, lightening the load for your budget as well as the planet.

High heating output with low energy costs: That goes for all areas of performance, whether you run our WTÖ system on oil or gas. Depending on requirements, it's available in a horizontal or vertical design and as a chemical heater in vertical, floor-fired form. In addition to a high level of firing efficiency achieved through generously sized heating surfaces, the WTÖ boiler series also ensures minimal pressure loss with simultaneously low thermal stress on the heat carrier. In addition, it strictly adheres to the defined heat carrier film temperature. Its uncompromisingly reliable and durable design also copes confidently with frequent load changes caused by starting and stopping.
Our extensive in-house manufacturing facilities allow us to keep track of the entire production chain – all the way from thermal and flow engineering design of the boiler and heater via construction, material selection and purchasing, pipe deformation and welding processes, through to assembly and acceptance. On our pipe bending machine, one of Europe’s largest, we can produce pipes up to DN 200 (8”) with a momentum of resistance up to 115 cm3 – your guarantee for uniquely reliable designs, manufactured according to precise specifications and delivered on time. We also plan and construct the necessary measurement, control and regulating systems and switchgears in HTT’s own in-house electrical department. Whether contactor control or PC, PLC or computer-controlled control and regulation processes are required: Our MCR department tailors everything to your purposes. This allows us to design your heater so precisely, taking into account the heat exchanger properties, that it can achieve a service life far beyond the market average – with low maintenance requirements, high reliability and excellent efficiency and using waste energy with efficiency rates of up to 94%.
Our LV series air preheaters offer a smart and sophisticated way to return heat energy from your flue gases to your system. Unlike more costly heat recovery systems, they use the heat from waste gas to preheat combustion air for the heater. This helps reduce your burner’s energy requirements by up to 10% in an efficient way, protecting your budget and the planet – an investment that will quickly pay off.

With APEK Mini, APEK Midi and APEK Maxi, we supply standardised complete packages consisting of WTÖ, air preheaters, burners and ducts for a range of different applications and provide proven HTT technology for lower output classes. With the APEK Mini, for instance, we offer a solution from 300 kW – giving businesses with lower process heating needs such as bakeries and organisations in the chemical industry access to sustainable technology that was previously reserved for major systems.
