We've been supplying our industrial customers with custom-made solutions for process heat generation since 1967. Across every sector. From a workshop to a global player. Far beyond Europe. There's one simple reason for our constant growth over the past half-century: quality. In consultation, in development, in production and in operation. Every single day, we do our best to give you the best – ultra-robust systems and components made in our own production facilities, smart solutions for a sustainable future and a rock-steady service you can rely on.
Whether it’s baking, textile manufacturing or petrochemicals: Nothing works without process heat. That's why, as a leader of innovation, we give our all to make your production processes as reliable and fail-proof as possible. You benefit directly from our great strengths:
With our own production facilities in our Herford and Spreewald locations, we keep track of the entire production chain.
We’re a one-stop shop for consultation, needs analysis, planning, development, production, assembly and maintenance.
We supply solutions perfectly tailored to your needs – manufactured to the highest quality and delivered on time.
You benefit from our experience drawn from over five decades of uncompromising research and development work.
As a member of the DIN committee, we helped shape the specifications for thermal oil systems.
Looking for a sustainable alternative to oil and gas heaters? We’ve got powerful electrical alternatives for you.
As a pioneer in the process heating market, we give our all to find the right solution for every single task. Over the past few decades, this has helped us set benchmarks again and again. Take advantage of the expertise we’ve accumulated from countless success stories.
Success doesn't come easy. It's the result of good, honest hard work – combined with a clear vision, combined expertise and a team that wants to make things happen. We’re pretty proud of the milestones we’ve achieved already:
Günter Schmitt founds HTT together with two other partners and soon assembles a team of highly-motivated engineers around him. This marks the beginning of an incredible success story shaped by constant growth from day one. HTT starts out manufacturing the first heater it developed itself.
HTT develops the first pump designed especially for heat carrier technology with an extended shaft and cooling section.
Based on an extensive series of tests, HTT builds further components and systems that ensure increasing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
When it comes to quality, word gets around: The first orders from other countries soon come streaming in. In every case, the HTT team handles the transport and installation of components itself, like with this delivery to Iraq.
Impressive system technology and major sales activities, including at the Hanover Messe trade fair, sees order numbers skyrocket. We outgrow our former production site at our Herford HQ in the 1970s and need to expand it.
As a member of the committee assembled by the DIN Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. to work on DIN 4754, company founder Günter Schmitt makes a major contribution to designing the fundamental requirements for thermal oil systems.
The new millennium sees capacity gradually expand to meet demand: HTT sets up a research and development facility, builds a new administration building, expands production in Herford and opens a second location in Märkische Heide, Brandenburg.
As part of the takeover by DIK Deutsche Industriekapital GmbH , its managing partner Erik Theilig assumes leadership of HTT. The investment and restructuring expert draws on his management experience from over 50 corporate transactions to align HTT’s strategy and operations with the challenges of the future.
Climate change and the energy crisis: HTT energy GmbH takes its responsibility as a pioneer of technology seriously and offers sound solutions for sustainability and investment security with its electrical heaters and components for energy recovery. A new claim and updated web presence proactively tackles the questions of our time.
